Return & Exchange Policy

At Tanmira, your happiness with every purchase means a lot to us. Each piece we make is crafted with care, so please read this policy carefully before you place your order.

When You Can Return a Product

We accept returns or exchanges only for items that arrive with a real manufacturing defect.

  • If you notice any defect, please tell us within 3 days of receiving your order.
  • To raise a return request, you will need to share a clear 360-degree opening (unboxing) video of the parcel and product. This video is required for us to approve the request.
  • After we approve your return, the product must be sent back to us within 3 working days of that approval.

How the Return Works

Once our team approves your return, the product has to be shipped back to our office in Sikar, Rajasthan.

The cost of return shipping has to be paid by the customer. After the product reaches us and we check that its condition is fine, we will go ahead with the exchange.

In some cases, we may offer a small contribution towards your return shipping (up to ₹80 per product), and this amount will be added to a gift card issued to you.

What We Cannot Accept

  • Returns simply because you did not like the product after receiving it.
  • Returns based on small colour differences. The actual product may look slightly different from the photos because of lighting, photography, or your screen settings, so these differences are normal and not a defect.
  • For our Bandhani and Gotapatti pieces, tiny marks such as small thread holes or minor differences in stitching and dyeing are a natural part of handmade work. These are not treated as defects and are not eligible for return.

Important Points to Know

Order cancellation by us: Tanmira may cancel an order if the item goes out of stock unexpectedly, if there is a pricing mistake, or if a transaction looks fraudulent. If this happens, we will start your full refund quickly.

Damage during delivery: We pack every order safely and ship through trusted courier partners. If your parcel looks opened, tampered with, or damaged when it reaches you, please do not accept it and inform our support team right away so we can help.

Return window: Any return request must be raised within 3 days from the date of delivery.

Condition of the product: All returned items must come back with their original tags and in their original condition. Items returned without the original tags will not be accepted.

Customised and sale items: Customised or altered products (for example, size changes, fall and piko work) and sale items cannot be returned.

We are always happy to honour genuine return requests made within the given time, along with a proper unboxing video. However, raising false claims, demanding unfair compensation, or misusing consumer laws to pressure or threaten us will be treated as deliberate harassment and may lead to legal action.

Refunds & Exchanges

  • Exchanges are allowed up to the value of your original product.
  • We do not give cash refunds. Instead, we offer an exchange or a gift card that you can use for a future order.
  • Any shipping charges, if applicable, will not be adjusted in the exchange.

Tanmira follows the Consumer Protection Act, 2019 and the Consumer Protection (E-Commerce) Rules, 2020. Our policy is made to keep things clear and fair for both our customers and our artisans, while protecting everyone from misuse or false and delayed claims.
